Find endless cans of El Pato tomato sauces at Food 4 Less on 1st and Mott (Boyle Heights location) approximately one mile east of the El Pato factory on Mission Road before the bridge into downtown (Los Angeles).

The fact that I feel like gagging every time I pass by the El Pato factory (especially in the summer) doesn’t stop me from using this stuff. It’s great when I’m too lazy to make my own salsa for enchiladas, chilaquiles, or as a base in semi-homemade salsas.

I never tried the jalapeno one, I usually do the regular yellow can in all kinds of diff ways but thanks foe the tip on this one.
Thats where I used to shop. Back then it was some kind of supersized R..alphs then a Spanish market(?) some division of Kr…ogers, then a Food/4.less and then I left.
